Run, Run United on March 6!

The same time last year, I was so psyched about running and joining RUN UNITED. For an event which was so hyped, it certainly delivered the expectations of the THOUSANDS who registered, and even exceeding what everybody else expected.

Believe me, it's one of the best runs I've ever seen.  One million plus points for involving not just the registered runners, but the runners' families as well. Google it, and I assure you, I'm not the only one saying that.

Run United 1 2011 is set on March 6, 2011. Yes, that's this Sunday. Yes, it's at the Fort, and no, there will be no onsite registration. All slots have been taken and they were gone FAST. That's the simplest way we can say: YES, the Run United events are worth it, and yes, registration sells like hotcakes. (I slacked off registration, and even I, was unable to get a slot! Buhhh-mmer.)

That sucks. I am not missing the Run United 2. And right now I am wishing Santa delivers me an early present -- a bike. (Ehem. XS - S frame, please Santa. Please? I've been good. So far. :D ) 'Cos, unless you haven't you heard, Bike United rocked too!

If you're complaining that organizers should open more slots, try to understand, this is a run, and we don't want to feel like we went to some political rally. Let's let the runners and enthusiasts do what they have to do.

'Wag na nga kasi mainggit!...

So... if you missed out on a slot, stop sulking (or making excuses), postpone that Satur-date night and head on the Fort on March 6th.

OH, didn't I tell you yet?

                                                        Anooo ba...

The Active Health Village is open to everybody.

Really! It's really free for all. Bring lolo, lola,  mommy, daddy, ate, kuya and experience what's in store for all of you at the Active Health village. There's a zone for every member of the family. :) (Ummm Bantay, Blackie or Whitie doesn't count yet, but who knows, maybe on the next event? Well, there's a whole lot of space for you to walk them at the BHS vicinity. You'll look overly sosy pa. Just make sure your pet doesn't have galis.)

And for all you showbiz people asking -- "sinong celebrities ang pupunta?..."

I DON'T KNOW!!! :) Hindi po kami close. Hehehe.

Well, yeah, I have some ideas, but just GO, and see for yourself. I assure you, it will be worth your while. (For the record, I did see Diether Ocampo, Sen. Pia Cayetano, Coach Norman Black, Alvin Patrimonio, Akiko Thompson, the Gonzaga sisters, Ryan Agoncillo, among many others, last year.)

(And if you don't see anyone, you can console yourselves looking at guys and girls in sexy running shorts at the very least. That's HOT if you ask me! Mucho freebies from the village to boot.)

See you on Sunday!
